Hi, everyone. As you know, I’m Qiana, and I am coming today with a wonderful update.
As you all know, my family and I are experiencing some difficulties and have been for a while. We’re staying in a hotel, my youngest son is being taken care of by someone else until I find a stable home for him, and the separation has been hard on all of us. I want to thank everyone who has donated to help me remain in this hotel, so that I can show DSS that I can be stable in this hotel and, in time, we can be reunited with my son.
Today, I was able to go to Pathways and take the assessment for the Rapid Rehousing Program, and I got accepted into the program! Glory be to the Most High God for opening this door for us! I know that it’s God, because normally it takes several months to get into the program, and less than 30 minutes after I did the assessment, I received an email saying that I was accepted.
This is the beginning of a new part of our journey here in Rock Hill, South Carolina, and I am thankful for the opportunity to share God’s grace in my life with you all.
The next step is finding a place that will approve us, so that they can help us get into our new home. I will be diligently looking for our new home, so if anyone knows a landlord who is willing to give me a second chance (as I have an eviction from February 2026 on my record), please reach out to Matt. I receive a monthly check, and I also have a job, so I will be able to maintain the rent.
My family and I are so grateful for the Speak Up community that has helped us get this far! Our needs are still great, and any donations will continue to help us pay for the room, help us get to and from work, and help us with food.
I thank God for each and every one of you out there. Please share our story, because it may help someone who feels like giving up to KEEP STANDING ON THE MOST HIGH GOD!
